Myanmar Consul-General U Thwin Htet Lin attended the Yunnan Exchange Event on Geographic Indication for South and Southeast Asia held at Yunnan Haigen Convention Centre in Kunming City on 27 July 2024, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Under the guidance of Yunnan Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, China Certification & Accreditation Association (CCAA) and Yunnan Certification and Accreditation Association jointly declared the 2024 Commodity list with Yunnan’s Geographic Indication at the event. Then, officials introduced trademarks that were selected as the first batch of brand awareness programmes for a campaign, “A Hundred Companies in a Thousand Villages”, to the attendees. — ASH/KK
