The YPS card centres are offering a special promotion event (Buy 1 Get 1 Free) between 9 and 22 October for YBS passengers.
The promotion event is available at YPS card centres located at Sule, Mahabandoola Park, Myanmar Plaza, Yuzana Plaza, Hledan, YUPT and Bandoola Bus Terminal. At present, YPS payment cards can be used for 35 bus lines. Plans are underway to install the card payment system on more YBS bus lines. Those passengers, who lose YPS card, can close the service at the centres not to lose a top-up in the cards. However, they need to present the code number of their cards and receipt of the card. The registration system of the card is ongoing.
The passengers have to touch the machine while getting on and off the bus. It cost K200 per trip. The busfares will vary depending on the trip later on.
The YPS cards can be purchased at the service centres in Thamine, Tamway and Sule, g&g convenience stores and City Hall, Eight Miles, Myanmar Plaza and Parami Nyaungbin bus stops, Starmar Transport Intelligent Company said. (Translated by Ei Myat Mon)
