The International Agriculture and Livestock, Energy, Food, Restaurant and Hotel Exhibition is being held at the Yangon Convention Centre (YCC) in Mayangon Township, Yangon Region, from 10 am to 5 pm on 28-30 June, according to Silver Sea Company Managing Director U Zarni Tin Myint.
At the exhibition, 68 companies and associations from Myanmar, Thailand, China, Japan, and Israel occupy 101 booths, along with 27 booths from 24 local small and medium enterprises (SMEs), bringing the total number of booths to 128.
“We can say that our country is a major agricultural nation. We aim to introduce new technologies, products, businesses, and services to those involved in crop cultivation.
Displaying existing services and goods will contribute to further development,” said U Zarni Tin Myint.
The exhibition also features discussions on milk and dairy products, the use of solar electricity in agriculture, and organic agriculture and marketing.
In addition, visitors can observe cooking demonstrations by national chefs, as well as bed-making contests for young hotel housekeepers, and purchase fruits and food products directly from producers at fair prices. — ASH/TKO
