World Health Day 2021 celebrated in Nay Pyi Taw

Union Minister Dr Thet Khine Win makes the speech on the occasion of World Health Day 2021 celebration yesterday.

The Ministry of Health and Sports celebrated World Health Day 2021 in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the ceremony, Union Minister Dr Thet Khine Win said the theme for today World Health Day is “Building a fairer, healthier world”. The COVID-19 vaccination programmes are also conducted as planned. Those who received vaccines also need to be aware of basic COVID-19 preventive measures.
The Union Minister also discussed the systematic healthcare index for a reference regarding the public healthcare services to prevent unfair treatment and priority sectors from providing primary healthcare services for the people living in remote areas.
The staff of our Ministry of Health and Sports must provide health care to the people. It should consider whether the current doings are appropriate and it is time to return to their duties.
He urged the attendees to make efforts in implementing quality and fair healthcare services for entire people.
Then, the video clip titled “Building a fairer and healthier world” was played.  After the ceremony, the Union Minister, Deputy Minister, and other attendees inspected World Health Day’s exhibition. —MNA
