Visitors thronged to second day of 2023 Rainy Season Expo

People flocked to the second day of 2023 Rainy Season Expo, Industrial Product Exhibition and Electric Vehicle (EV) Exhibition held in the People’s Square, Dagon Township, Yangon Region on 5 August.
Visitors showed special interest in booths exhibiting household items, agricultural produce, construction materials, clothes, footwear, vehicle tyres, perfumes and spices produced by 29 industrial zones of the Yangon Region. They were also passionate about food stalls opened by the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, natural fertilizers and fresh vegetables exhibited by the Yangon City Development Committee, Yangon Region Investment Committee’s industrial product booths, and MSME booths representing Bago Region, Mandalay Region, Shan State and Ayeyawady Region.
Besides, the Myanmar Edible Oil Traders and Edible Oil Manufacturers Association sold one viss of edible oil per person in a queue system at a low price.
Famous national singers and dancers gave performances to the visitors who came to the expo, and the restaurant booths were crowded with consumers. – San Kyaw Oo (IPRD)/KZL
