Virtual workshop marking 75th Anniversary of Myanmar- Russia diplomatic ties held

The workshop to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Myanmar-Russia Diplomatic Relations is held virtually yesterday.

The Far Eastern Federal University of the Russian Federation organized a virtual workshop marking the 75th Anniversary of Myanmar- Russia diplomatic ties yesterday.
At the event, University Vice-President Dr Evgeny Vlasov, Myanmar Ambassador to Russian Federation U Lwin Oo, Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Dr Nikolay Listopadov, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Science and Technology Dr Sai Kyaw Naing Oo, Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs U Aung Ko made opening speeches respectively.
They also discussed the enhancement of bilateral relations, economic growth, human resource development and cooperation in improving the socio-economic status using nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
The event was also joined by Director-General Dr Aung Swe Tun of the Ministry of Education, U Myo Myint, from the Russia-Myanmar Association of Friendship and Cooperation and experts and representatives from the political, economic and education sectors. – MNA/KTZH
