Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Htay Aung attended an international symposium on business and logistics management, which was held at Mae Fah Luang University in Chiang Rai, Thailand, from 23 to 24 July.
The International Symposium Next Generation ASEAN+3 Connectivity “Trends and Opportunities in Business and Logistics Management” was aimed to provide a forum for scholars, students, entrepreneurs, government sector and private sector from neighbouring countries to share and gain experience in the issues of international business management, border trade and logistics and supply chain management in ASEAN+3 countries.
At the event, U Htay Aung discussed GDP increase of Myanmar, the World Travel and Tourism Council’s tourism development report on the country.
The conference was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Pridiyathorn Devakula, international experts, scholars and students.
