Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, U Aung Naing Oo met with the Chairman and members of Sagaing Region Administration Council and Sagaing Region Investment Committee members at the office of Sagaing Region Administration Council’s meeting room in Monywa on the morning of 12 June 2021.
At the meeting, the Union Minister discussed the investment promotion and facilitation matters to promote the citizen and foreign investments under the Myanmar Investment Law, rules and regulations. He also urged the Region Committee to monitor and provide necessary assistance to the existing investments permitted by the Myanmar Investment Committee (MIC) and endorsed by Region Investment Committee. He also encouraged facilitating citizen investment in manufacturing and service sectors by creating an investor-friendly environment.
After that, the Chairman of the Sagaing Region Administration Council and the Chairman of Region Investment Committee, U Maung Maung Linn, discussed the investment promotion activities undertaken by Committee and explained the future investment promotion plan and activities.
Then, the Union Minister proceeded to the NCY International Co., Ltd, manufacturer of milling machines for rice and other crops in the Monywa Industrial Zone. The Director of the company briefed the current business operation and raised the issues encountered by the company. After hearing the report, the Union Minister coordinated and facilitated the requirements of the company.
During his inspection tour, the Union Minister met with the business communities from Sagaing Region and coordinated and fulfilled the needs of the investors and traders.—MNA
