Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met Mr Abhay Thakur, Ambassador of India to Myanmar, yesterday at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.
They cordially discussed cooperation in the media sector between the two countries, broadcasting trustworthy news, the groundbreaking ceremony in September of the Literati Beikman to be built with the help of India, collaboration in the economic, tourism, literature and culture sectors, and further enhancing the relationship between the two countries.
Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, Permanent Secretary U Win Kyaw Aung and heads of departments were present on the occasion. — MNA/TS
