Union Energy Minister meets delegation from Russian Investment Fund

Union Minister for Energy U Ko Ko Lwin held discussions with a delegation led by Mr Shatirov Alexander Sergeevich of Fund RC-Investment of the Russian Federation yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw.
They talked about enhancing energy cooperation, oil and gas exploration, technical support, collaboration with Russian companies, coal bed methane extraction, oil refinery upgrades, and technical assistance.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister U Thant Sin, departmental officials, representatives from the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations, and officials from the Russian Investment Fund Group. — MNA/TS
