Union Minister Dr Nyunt Pe joins the opening event of the ''Shaping the Future" Education Forum on 8 June in the Russian Federation.

Union Minister for Education Dr Nyunt Pe attended the opening ceremony of the “Shaping the Future” Education Forum held at the Kazan IT Park on 8 June in the Russian Federation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed an inauguration speech virtually at the opening ceremony.
The Union minister attended the first and second parts of the plenary session.
In the evening, Union Minister Dr Nyunt Pe met Minister Mr Falkov Valeriy of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister Mr Mogilevskiy Konstantin, Rector Safin Lenar of the Kazan Federal University, Deputy Director Mr Terashkevich Sergey of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Counsellor Mr Shumeykina Margarita of the Department of International Cooperation at the Federal University.
They frankly discussed issues related to the provision of scholarships and further cooperation in the basic education sector, the higher education sector and the teacher training education sector of Myanmar’s Ministry of Education.
In the evening, the Union minister enjoyed the dinner hosted at the Kazan Palace Hotel. — MNA/TS
