Union Election Commission Chairman U Thein Soe received Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Chen Hai, in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the meeting, the Chinese ambassador raised questions on the ongoing work plans being conducted in line with the five-point road map of the State Administration Council, future work plans and inspections of political parties.
Then, the UEC chairman frankly discussed the commission’s activities, amendment of laws and rules to organize the election, compiling of voter lists, inspections of political parties and China-Myanmar bilateral relations. – MNA
