UDM (Yangon), India’s SIMATS ink MoU

The signing of a five-year memorandum of understanding on cooperation in educational fields between the University of Dental Medicine (Yangon) of the Department of Human Resources for Health under the Ministry of Health and the Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) of India was conducted online yesterday.
Rector of the University of Dental Medicine (Yangon) Prof Dr Shwe Toe and India’s SIMATS Dean Dr Lakshmi Thangavelu inked the MoU in the presence of Director-General Dr Tin Tun of the Department of Human Resources for Health.
The MoU will implement reciprocal sending of faculty members and students between the two universities, promotion of learning opportunities and cooperation in research and other academic fields. – MNA/TS
