For the convenience of importers, the activation of automatic licensing and non-automatic licencing systems will start on 22 June 2023 instead of 1 June, the Ministry of Commerce announced.
The Customs Department released a statement in May saying that importers can apply for import licences for 3,075 product lines by the automatic licencing system starting on 1 June.
A total of 3,075 product lines to be imported through automatic licensing and non-automatic licensing systems on Myanmar Tradenet 2.0 has been set as product lines that require import licences in MACCS (Myanmar Automated Cargo Clearance System). — TWA/CT
