Tree planting ceremony of Myanmar-China FAM Trip held

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr Thet Thet Khine attended a tree planting ceremony for Myanmar-China Tourism Promotion Familiarization Trip (FAM Trip) persons in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
During the event, the Union Minister highlighted the intention of the tree planting programme and green tourism promotion activities.
Then, a representative of FAM Trip handed over cash donations to the chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Hoteliers Association.
After the ceremony, the Union Minister received the delegation of Japan’s Sendai-based Grape City Company Limited at the ministry.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed tourism promotion video recording and editing, broadcast of tourism documents on the website and social media, cooperation in technology and human resources development, promotion of ethnic traditional culture and food in each tour site and measures to promote the country as a place that is actually worth visiting at the international meetings. — MNA/KTZH
