Total cases of COVID-19 reach 150 on Wednesday

NATIONAL NEWS

1. On 29 April 2020, a total of 110 specimens – 89 at the National Health Laboratory-NHL (Yangon), and 21 at the Department of Medical Research-DMR (Yangon) – were tested, and the results showed no positive case of COVID-19.
2. There are a total of 150 confirmed cases in Myanmar up to 8:00 pm on 29 April.
3. The National Health Laboratory (Yangon) has also taken the samples of old confirmed cases of COVID-19, and regularly testing them.
4. Among them, 16 persons have recovered, and they were allowed to be discharged from the hospitals. In addition, 11 old confirmed cases – Case No.001, 002, 008, 032, 033, 038, 041, 047, 050, 054, and 058) – were tested two times and found negative.
5. There are six deaths so far.
6. A total of 79 new persons are under investigation from 12 noon of 28 April to 12 noon of 29 April.
