Thailand repatriates 206 Myanmar migrant workers after completing sentences

It has been reported that Thai authorities transferred 206 Myanmar migrant workers, who had completed their sentences in Thailand, back to Myanmar on 14 February.
These individuals served their terms in custody in southern Thailand and were repatriated from Ranong to Kawthoung. The group of repatriated workers comprised 160 men and 46 women.
Upon their arrival in Kawthoung, local authorities conducted COVID-19 tests, verified their personal information, and educated them. — TWA/TRKM
