Myanmar U-23 lost 0-3 to team Thailand in the group match of the 2023 AFF U-23 Championship in Rayong, Thailand yesterday.
Team Myanmar was slow to attack once the game started. The Thai team is much better than the Myanmar junior team in both individual skills and teamwork.
Phodchara Chainarong sealed the first goal for Thailand at 21 minutes. After that leading goal, their whole team became more motivated and played better.
Chudit Wanpraphao again scored at 32 minutes to set two goals at the top of the scoreboard at the end of the first half. Myanmar played more aggressively in the second half but Thailand stayed perfect.
The third goal saw a penalty kick from Thai star Yotsakorn Burapha at 88 minutes to seal a 3-0 victory over Myanmar. — KZL
