Terrorist attack at Sagaing wedding leaves two dead, several hurt

PDF terrorists reportedly attacked a wedding in Sagaing Region with explosive devices on 4 December, resulting in the deaths of two women and injuries to 13 individuals, including two seven-year-olds.
The report further indicates that the terrorists used controlled drones to drop bombs on the home of U Lin Maung, a resident of Payan Village in Shwebo Township. The attack was apparently staged from Kyaukmyint Village, situated 3,000 metres south of Payan Village.
The injured victims are currently receiving treatment at Shwebo General Hospital. It has been reported that residents strongly condemn the perpetrations of PDF terrorists, and security forces have implemented necessary measures to ensure the safety of the area.
Recent reports reveal that PDF terrorists have been targeting non-military entities in townships that do not support them. Their activities include mining roads and bridges, shelling and dropping bombs on settlements, as well as setting residences on fire. — MNA/NT
