Temporary intl cargo ports enable export to neighbouring countries

Shweme Port and Mottama Port from Shwepyitha Township, Yangon Region, were approved by the Customs Department as temporary international cargo ports that can export goods to neighbouring countries on 24 April 2024.
In order to carry out border trade export activities from these ports to neighbouring countries, One-Stop-Service (OSS), including the Customs Department, have been assigned to carry out inspections since 24 April, and entrepreneurs can now carry out export activities with neighbouring countries. — MNA/KZL
