The Myanmar national team has been training since yesterday evening for the remaining two group matches of the 2026 World Cup Asian zone qualifiers against Japan and North Korea, which will be played in June.
The Myanmar national team is composed of 33 preliminary players and will have nine days to prepare for the match against the Japanese team.
Most of the players participated in the first practice programme of the Myanmar national team, and only some of those playing in foreign clubs could not come to join.
The Myanmar squad will play at home against the Japanese team on 6 June as a World Cup qualifier and will play away against the North Korean team on 11 June. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
