The rotating tea gathering meeting of the ASEAN Ladies Circle-Beijing was held at the Myanmar Embassy in Beijing, where Daw Mi Mi Maw, the wife of the Myanmar ambassador, gave the opening speech.
The ASEAN Ladies Circle-Beijing is an organization led by the wives of ambassadors from ASEAN embassies in Beijing, China, including women from ASEAN member embassies. The recent event was also an activity for June.
At the meeting, staff members from the Myanmar Embassy and students wore traditional cultural dresses representing their ethnic groups and performed the song ‘A Song for Unity’. — ASH/MKKS
