Tatmadaw transit centres providing healthcare services to COVID-19 quarantined persons

Transit centres of Defence Service in Nay Pyi Taw and Hline Township in Yangon are providing quarantined persons for COVID-19 disease with accommodations and medical services.
On 5 May, the Transit Centre in Nay Pyi Taw accommodated 6 men returned from China, another 6 men and 5 women from border towns Muse, Laukai, Lwejwel, Myawady and Kengtung, while the Transit Centre in Hline Township received 4 men and 1 woman returned from China, 4 men came back from Thailand and 1 man from Laukai.
A PUI was also transferred from Hline Township’s transit centre to a hospital due to suffering gastritis on 5 May.
The transit centres in Nay Pyi Taw and Hline Township have discharged 8 persons and 1 person as they have spent 21-day quarantine with approval documents and the Tatmadaw arranged vehicles for their return to homes.
The Office of Commander in Chief of Defence Services has reported at 7 pm on 5 May that the Transit Centre in Nay Pyi Taw is quarantining 295 people and 123 people are at the Transit Centre of Hline Township. These persons are in good conditions of health.—MNA(Translated by Aung Khin)
