Tatmadaw senior officers commence rehabilitation tasks in Kyaukpyu Township

Lt-Gen Lu Aye, Brig-Gen Zaw Min Aye and relevant officials arrived in Kyaukpyu Township yesterday to conduct rehabilitation processes, meet the members of the Disaster Management Committee, and inspected the losses and damages.
First, they went to Kyaukphyu Education Degree College and inspected the Thazain building that was destroyed in the storm and instructed to conduct repair works.
During the meeting held at Kyaukpyu District General Administration Department Office, Administrator U Ye Lin Maung reported on the preparations and competition of rehabilitation activities. Then, Lt-Gen Lu Aye said it will accelerate the rebuilding processes in Kyaukpyu township and in some townships of Rakhine State. As the preventive measures were made, it reduced the potential damages and the people were not affected. The local people and departments concerned should work together in rehabilitation processes.
Then, the officials went to the Kyauktalone IDP camp and met with the officials of the camp supervisory committee and made proper instructions. – Tin Tun Oo (IPRD)/KTZH
