Tatmadaw provides treatment to over 210,000 outpatients

Tatmadaw keep providing health care services for the patients at the military hospitals and temporary treatment hospitals in the townships of regions and states.
The Tatmadaw medical teams comprising Tatmadaw doctors, specialists, medical assistants and nurses, have been giving medical treatments to the people to solve their difficulties in healthcare services.
A total of 218,197 outpatients and 66,193 inpatients reached these hospitals from 5 February to date.
Senior medical experts, medics, medical assistants and nurses have conducted 10,183 major operations and 5,201 minor operations. The senior doctors gave intensive treatment for the severe cases.
These hospitals managed for the birth of 12,919 babies to date. Of those, 5,233 cases are done in the caesarean section and 7,686 cases in ordinary delivery.
Moreover, Shan State Administration Council Chairman Dr Kyaw Tun and North-East Command Commander Brig.-Gen Naing Naing Oo and party offered words of encouragement to the patients—locals, military officers, other ranks and their families– who took medical treatments at station military hospital in Lashio Town, Shan State (North) and gave foodstuffs.
Officials received K3 millions which donated by Shan State Administration Council to purchase medicines for the local patients who had treatments at the military hospital.
In addition to providing medical care to patients in need of hospitalization, Tatmadaw is making arrangements for the well-being of hospitalized patients and caregivers. —MNA
