Tatmadaw members should not commit carelessness for their duties as they are assigned round the clock: Vice-Senior General

Tatmadaw members in far-flung areas have to live in unison inside and outside the military units to prevent terror dangers, said State Administration Council Vice-Chair Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win while meeting officers, other ranks and families in Cocokyun yesterday afternoon.

After attending to the needs of the Tatmadaw members and families, the Vice-Senior General presented foodstuffs to them through officials.
Yesterday morning, the Vice-Senior General comforted the local people of Cocokyun receiving medical treatment aboard the sea-going hospital vessel (Thanlwin) and wore glasses to the patients who received eye surgical operations.
The sea-going hospital vessel (Thanlwin) is giving medical treatment to local people in Cocokyun as of 4 May. So far, 680 local people have received medical treatments for respective diseases.
The Vice-Senior General viewed round the coconut oil plant, decoration and household utensil industry and production of coir rope at the coconut and coconut product industry of the local military unit and left instructions on the need to produce the coconut products on a commercial scale in cooperation with the Small-Scale Industry Department under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development and sale of products at fair prices.
He then inspected the breeding of domestic cows, layers, broilers, DYL pits and dairy cows at the breeding farm and thriving seasonal crops at the local military unit. — MNA
