Tatmadaw (Air) transports relief materials to Mocha-hit regions

Relief goods are loaded aboard the Tatmadaw aircraft to transport them to Mocha-hit areas yesterday.

Tatmadaw has sent a group of aid and relief teams to areas affected by natural disasters and is carrying out the necessary aid and relief operations.
Food and relief items donated by Tatmadaw (Army, Navy, and Air) families and generous donors, as well as items provided by the National Disaster Management Committee, are being transported by military plane, helicopter, and ship.
The Tatmadaw aircraft transported 160 sacks of rice weighing eight tonnes donated by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement from Mandalay International Airport to Kalay Airport yesterday.
Relief materials are delivered in a timely manner by plane, and helicopter of the Tatmadaw (Air), and till yesterday, 491 tonnes of relief materials plus 3,260 military and departmental personnel who will assist in the rehabilitation work were successfully transported.
Relief materials arriving at the airports are being sent and distributed by helicopters to the storm-affected areas, and officials are receiving materials in a timely manner. — MNA/KZL
