Tatmadaw (Air) continues transporting foodstuffs, relief items to Rakhine State

The relief materials and food items contributed by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and well-wishers, and relief supplies provided by the National Disaster Management Committee for local communities affected by natural disasters in Rakhine State are being transported by Tatmadaw aircraft, helicopters and vessels.
Three hundred and twenty bags donated by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement were transported from Mandalay International Airport to Kalay Airport by Tatmadaw planes, and foodstuffs, textbooks, exercise books, school uniforms and backpacks donated by the families of Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) were transported from Sittway Airport to Rathedaung Airport by Tatmadaw helicopters.
A total of 3,134 of Tatmadaw members and departmental staff who will help in rehabilitation works and 463.2 tonnes of supplies were delivered to the storm-battered areas.
Officials in the respective areas received relief supplies and will distribute them to storm victims. — MNA/KZW
