Subversive media spreading false claims about military service in Mawlamyinekyun

It has been discovered that subversive media are circulating false information claiming that two young men listed for military service were forcibly taken by security forces on 14 July in Mawlamyinekyun, Ayeyawady Region, because they failed to report voluntarily.
According to an official from the local conscription team, there are no individuals in Mawlamyinekyun who failed to report for military service, and the two young men mentioned in the subversive media were not even on the conscription list.
Reports indicate that subversive media and those opposed to community peace and stability have been spreading misinformation via social networks since the enforcement of the law, aiming to mislead the public. — MNA/TKO
