Sodium cyanide, a prohibited chemical, was seized in Nawnghkio Township, as stated by the Myanmar Police Force.
A combined team, including security personnel, conducted a search operation at the residence of Yan San in Kyaunggon Village, Bambway Village-tract, Nawnghkio Township, at noon on 29 July. During the operation, they discovered 13,500 kilogrammes of sodium cyanide within a storage area. Following this seizure, Yan San, aged 39, and Yan En Chi, aged 41, have been taken into custody under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA/KZL
