Security forces continue confiscating weapons, equipment used in terrorist attacks

Security forces confiscated one homemade gun and related equipment to be used in the terrorist attack from a resident of Moekyo village, Madaya Township, Mandalay Region and seven percussion lock firearms and 28 fibre helmets from Monywa Township, Sagaing Region on 14 May.
Similarly, security forces searched the house of Daw Win, 40. They confiscated four long swords, four knives and related equipment used in terrorist attacks in Tamwe Township, Yangon Region.
It is reported that investigations are underway to take actions against the owners of the weapons and equipment used in terrorist attacks.—MNA
