SAC members attend 2023 Inter-state/regional volleyball tournament finals, awarding ceremony

The 2023 Inter-State and Region (Men’s/Women’s) Volleyball Tournament Final and Awarding Ceremony was held yesterday at Wunna Theikdi Gymnasium C in Nay Pyi Taw.
State Administration Council members: Daw Dwe Bu, Porel Aung Thein, Mahn Nyein Maung, Dr Hmu Thang, Khun San Lwin and U Shwe Kyein, Union Ministers and officials attended and awarded honorary medals and prizes to the athletes.
The Mandalay Region team and the Kachin State team played in the final match of the state and region volleyball tournament (women’s), and the Mandalay Region team defeated the Kachin State team by three games.
In the men’s final match, the Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw Team played against the Shan State Team. The Shan State team won three games against the Nay Pyi Taw team.
After that, the awarding ceremony continued, and the winners of the Best Volleyball Athlete award were presented with honorary medals and cash awards.
And, SAC members Khun San Lwin and U Shwe Kyein, presented cash awards to the Shan State team that won the first prize in the competition. — MNA/KZW
