SAC Member attends WHG 2024 New Year Thanksgiving ceremony

SAC member Daw Dwe Bu presents gifts to students from School for the Blind in Myitkyina yesterday.

State Administration Council Member Daw Dwe Bu attended the 2024 New Year Thanksgiving ceremony yesterday organized by Wunpawng Htunghking Hpung Ginjaw (WHG) at Majwe Hall in Manaw Compound in Sitapu Ward of Myitkyina.
At the ceremony, the SAC member stressed the need to work together with the government and ethnic people for the development of the state and country with loving-kindness in the 2024 New Year occasion and added that the priests of Christian associations should support by spreading wishes to be able to pass the 2024 new year peacefully.
The Kachin State chief minister talked about the unity in developing the state, and the event continued as per the procedures.
At noon, the SAC member, accompanied by the wife of the state chief minister and members of the state women’s affairs association, visited the Grace Happy Land Orphanage. On arrival at the orphanage, she met with the principal and children and encouraged the children to become educated and outstanding persons for the country, state, ward and village.
The SAC member and party then provided K1 million to the orphanage. Moreover, the SAC member and party proceeded to the school for the blind in Ayemyathaya ward and presented K1 million to the principal. — MNA/KTZH
