SAC Information Team holds 6/2021 press conference

The Information Team of the State Administration Council held a 6/2021 press conference at the Ministry of Information yesterday. Team Leader Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, UEC Member U Khin Maung Oo, spokespersons and representatives of the departmental information team replied to the questions raised by the media.
Information Team Leader Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, through PowerPoint presentation, explained the issues pertaining to reopening of schools across the nation, salient excerpts from the interview between Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Chinese Phoenix Media, budget year, gazette holidays, involvement of EAOs in terrorist training, statements of NUG, CRPH and PDF, and consequences of these statements, testimony of suspects who committed bomb attacks and terror acts to highlight the difference between the real situation and spreading incitements and fake news.
Then, UEC Member U Khin Maung Oo clarified matters in connexion with released voting frauds found in the inspection, findings in voter lists and ballots, illegal activities in the 2020 General Election and performance of the current UEC.
The journalists raised questions on the facts they wanted to know. Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun, UEC Member U Khin Maung Oo and the departmental information team representatives answered. Then, the event was concluded.
Those attending the press conference viewed round facts about the press conference, endeavours of the current UEC, the inspection of voter lists and necessary documents.
The press conference was also attended by reporters from local news agencies, daily newspapers, local TV broadcasting stations and local-based foreign news agencies. — MNA
