State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing receives member of the House of Representatives Mr Hiromichi Watanabe of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan in Nay Pyi Taw on 11 August 2022.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by member of the House of Representatives Mr Hiromichi Watanabe of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan at the parlour of the office of the SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
They exchanged views on plans of Japan to grow cherry plants in the Maravijaya Buddha Park where the Maravijaya Buddha Image which would be the largest in the world will be located for enhancing the Japan-Myanmar friendly relations, political progress of Myanmar, promotion of bilateral relations and cooperation, further cooperation in economic and investment sectors, spreading of false information regarding Myanmar’s political situation among foreign countries, and need for people in Japan to know the true situations.
Also present at the meeting were Joint Secretary of the Council Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union ministers U Wunna Maung Lwin, U Aung Naing Oo and U Ko Ko Hlaing, and officials. The Japanese delegation was accompanied by Japan-Myanmar Cultural Enhancement Association Chairman Mr Fumio Usui and officials.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the member of the House of Representatives of Japan exchanged gifts and posed for documentary photos. — MNA
