Rural concrete road improves transport of residents

A ceremony to inaugurate a four-mile-long concrete road was held in Chaunggyi Village, Nyaungdon Township, Ayeyawady Region, in the last week of March.
Township Rural Development Department allotted K284 million in 2014-15 fiscal year and assigned duty to Kay Khaing Oo Company for construction of a four-mile-long and 12-foot-wide road.
Thanks to the concrete road, local residents from Chaunggyi, Zibyugon, Barlin and Chaungphya villages will enjoy improvement of transport all the year round.–Win Myint Kyaw (Nyaungdon)
