Public Awareness Exhibition on Mekong-Lancang Cooperation held

An Exhibition on the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation for Public Awareness, organized by the Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies under the auspices of the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC), was held at the Thingaha Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on 14 August 2023. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Kyaw Myo Htut and Minister Counsellor Dr Zheng Zhihong of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China. Also present on the occasion were officials from the respective Ministries that implemented the projects funded by the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC) Special Fund provided by the People’s Republic of China.
The deputy minister cut the ribbon to signify the opening of the exhibition and toured the exhibition. Then, the Talk and Quiz Competition on Mekong-Lancang Cooperation for students from ten Basic Education High Schools in Nay Pyi Taw, and the award-presenting ceremony were followed.
The exhibition will continue at Thingaha Hotel until 15 August and will showcase the cooperation activities that were implemented under the MLC Special Fund in Myanmar and other MLC member countries namely Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Viet Nam. — MNA
