Professional boxing qualifiers held in Myanmar

Myanmar Lethwei Federation, Japan Boxing Commission and MBC Company jointly organized the very first professional boxing qualifiers for WBC and WBO at the Myanmar Boxing Federation Training Ground in Thingangyun, Yangon, yesterday.
The men’s events involved four rounds, in which boxers Shein Htet Ko Ko and Tun Tun Win fought at 63.50 kilogrammes, Lin Htut Paing and Zaw Moe Myint at 55.34 kilos, Naing Lat and Hlwan Moe Aung at 61.23 kilos, Htet Wai Lin and Saw Wailan Htet at 72.57 kilos, Naw Phone and Phyo Ko Ko at 50.80 kilos, Nay Htet Aung and Saw Khite Ye Lin at 57.15 kilos, Win Hlaing Tun and Kyaw Myo Htwe at 63.50 kilos and Nay Lin Aung and Zaw Sai Naw at 79.38 kilos.
The women’s rounds were fought four rounds, and Naw Ohmar Soe and Ei Ei Htwe competed at 61.23 kilos.
The Myanmar Boxing Commission presented World Boxer Council medals to the winners.
Myanmar Lethwei Federation Chairman 1 U Kyaw Kyaw Soe, Chairman 2 U Ko Ko Aung, executive committee members, officials of Myanmar Boxing Commission and enthusiasts attended the event.
