Philanthropic school nurtures ethnic orphans

A youth development philA philanthropic school in Monbinlay village of Mahlaing Township, Mandalay Region, has taught orphans form ethnic minorities since its establishment in 1959.
The school admits ethnic children aged 5 and above, with a school population of
up to 1,000 students from primary to high school level.
Among the school’s former students are a Buddhist monk who has passed the two-and-a-half treatises of the Tipitaka examination and 15 civil servants.–Kyaw Kyaw (Mahlaing)
