The Myanmar Embassy to Singapore will continue passport extension service for remaining registered applicants on 21 July as the second batch of the special plan.
There are about 200 remaining registered applicants, and they can come to extend their passports at the embassy from 9:30 am on 21 July, along with their full documents.
The embassy will re-issue extended passports on 23-24 July between 1 pm and 3 pm.
Those who missed this particular plan can register through the embassy’s WhatsApp number, +65 82468581, and a list of names who are eligible to receive its regular service on office days will be announced every Friday at its website http://www.myanmarembassy.org.
The embassy said it doesn’t allow any private company, individual or organization to provide passport service.
It warned that it doesn’t offer paid reservation service for online appointments through online platforms such as Facebook Messenger and Instagram. Therefore, Myanmar nationals should be very aware of it. — TWA/ZS/ED
