Pann Khin project implemented in Meiktila, NyaungU and Yamethin

Union Minister U Myint Kyaing of the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population visited Htamonkan village in Meiktila Township in order to encourage issuing household censuses and citizenship cards to local villagers through the “Pann Khin” project. He met them warmly.
The Union Minister then addressed the handover ceremony of household censuses and citizenship scruting cards to locals in respective townships in Meiktila District, NyaungU District and Yamethin District. The Ministry staff completed the processes under the “Pann Khin” project.
A total of 1,946 household census and 2,700 citizenship cards were handed over to the Chairmen of the respective Township Administration Bodies. A resident expressed words of thanks regarding the project at the ceremony.
At the coordination meeting on the successful implementation of the “Pann Khin” project in Mandalay Region, Mandalay Region Administration Council Member Col Kyaw Kyaw Min presented the ongoing process of the project, further action plans and coordination between the departments, and the Union Minister coordinated as necessary.
In the afternoon, the Union Minister met with the staff of the immigration and population staff in Meiktila, NyaungU and Yamethin districts and provided supplies for them. — MNA
