Over 2M people to receive CSCs in Pankhinn Project Phase III

Union Minister U Myint Kyaing of the Ministry of Immigration and Population announced on 30 December that the third phase of the Pankhinn Project, scheduled to run from 1 January to 30 September 2024, aims to issue citizenship scrutiny cards (CSCs) to more than two million people.
The Union minister disclosed that over 12 million households had been registered using the e-ID system, and an additional 2.8 million households, collected through a free format, would undergo validation and approval within the specified period before submission to the Union Election Commission.
During the Pankhinn Project Phase I, citizenship scrutiny cards were granted to over 3.4 million individuals, and in Phase II, the number reached over 1.4 million individuals. — TWA/MKKS
