The Department of Commerce, Myawady Trade Zone facilitated the delivery of the oxygen without delay, which is critically needed in the treatment of COVID-19 in the country.
Importation of COVID-19 devices and medical supplies, including oxygen, has been allowed through the Myawady border in order to assist in the prevention and control of the disease. According to the trade zone, it is unnecessary to apply for an FDA approval and import licence. In addition, 3 per cent Customs duty is allowed to be withdrawn in advance without paying in cash. – Htein Lin Aung/GNLM
