The Department of Consumer Affairs has announced that online sales registration certificate amendment and renewal can be applied starting from 17 June.
The process of correcting and renewing the registration certificate must be done through www.ecomreg.gov.mm.
When the information on the registration certificate is changed at the time of applying for the certificate, the renewal can only be carried out after the correction process has been undertaken first.
Information amendment fees and renewal fees must be submitted according to the export and import bulletin 17/2023. In the case of renewal applications, people can apply 60 days before the expiration of the online sales business registration certificate.
When applying for renewal, the information from the previous online sales registration application must be correct.
Applicants must be responsible for the promise, and if there are any changes to the information, they can apply for an extension only after making corrections in the preparation section.
After the Ministry of Commerce announced on 21 July 2023 that the online sales business must be considered an essential commodity service and registered, the online sales registration application was allowed to start on 2 October 2023. — TWA/KZL
