ONE Championship to hold first all-women’s event on 3 September

ONE Championship will host its first all-women’s event named ONE: Empower in Singapore on 3 September, the ONE officials said.
“This Friday, 3 September, the world’s best female martial artists will enter the Circle at ONE: EMPOWER, which features everything from a World Title main event to the biggest women’s tournament in mixed martial arts history.
“The women of ONE Championship are ready to make history,” the officials said.
In the main event, ONE Women’s Strawweight World Champion Xiong Jing Nan “The Panda” will defend her golden belt against second-ranked contender Michelle Nicolini.
In the Atomweight World Grand Prix Quarterfinal, Denice Zamboanga will take on Seo Hee Ham, and in the Atomweight Kickboxing fight, Anissa Meksen will face Cristina Morales.
Next, the debut of kickboxing great Anissa “C18” Meksen, the return of Muay Thai phenom Jackie Buntan, and the entire quarterfinal round of the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix are apples for everyone’s eyes.
The ONE: EMPOWER event will be broadcast live to more than 150 countries, and fans can watch via television, tablet, computer, or mobile device, the ONE officials said.
The full event stream will be available free on ONE’s YouTube channel and the ONE Super App beginning at 7:30 pm of Singapore Standard Time (SGT).
ONE Championship fans from Myanmar can also enjoy the ONE: EMPOWER the main card on Skynet Channel at 7 pm of Myanmar Standard Time on Friday, 3 September. — GNLM
