Union Minister for Border Affairs and NSPCC Chair Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung, NSPCC members, Dr Aye Maung, leader of the political parties’ working group and Chairman of the Rakhine Party, along with other representatives, attended the meeting.
Union Minister Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and Dr Aye Maung delivered opening remarks. Lt-Gen Min Naing, NSPCC Secretary, outlined the agenda, followed by discussions between the parties on proposed amendments to the 2008 Constitution. The first day of discussions concluded, with the next meeting scheduled for 22 August. — MNA/TS
