Kyaktaw 72AA terrorists launched landmine attacks to security forces near Kyauktaw Township, Rakhine State, on 11 May.
Defence Services personnel sent COVID-19 medical supplies to the People’s Hospital in Kyauktaw Township and the Maha Kangyi Shin pagoda, and the Tatmadaw medic team performed medical checkups to the locals, conducted awareness campaigns and carried out disinfections on that day.
After departing from the township, the security forces were attacked by the two remote landmines planted at the roadside of Yangon-Sittway Union Highway by AA terrorists about 300 metre west of Kissapanadi Bridge at 5 pm.
The Office of Commander in Chief of Defence Services has reported that no one was injured in the attacks, and security columns are doing mine clearance works.—MNA (Translated by Aung Khin)
