Property sales in Dala township are increasing with very high prices, thanks to Yangon-Dala bridge project, real estate agencies said.

The new Myanmar-Korea Friendship Yangon-Dala River bridge has been completed more than 50% so far, and due to this project, land plots in Dala are being sold for billions of kyats, they said.

“There are many buyers for land in Dala. Prices are skyrocketing. The high completion rate of Dala bridge is one of the reasons. Prices are around 1 or 2 billion kyats. Since the road has been paved, the plots on the main road are selling well,” said Dala realtor.

Dala land prices have been rising month by month and a piece of land that used to cost 80 million kyats now costs around 1 billion kyats, locals said.
Yangon-Dala bridge is expected to complete by the first week of 2024, according to the Ministry of Construction.

When the bridge is completed, people will be able to travel easily and quickly from Yangon to Dala, Twantay, Kawhmu and Kungyangon, and it can solve the problem of traffic congestion in Yangon to some extent.
