Nay Pyi Taw’s first-ever Flower Festival was crowded with people on Saturday.
Yesterday’s festival showcased some 250,000 flower decorations, with over 30 species. The Flower Festival will continue through 31 March.
The festival has also arranged to entertain visitors with concerts by celebrity vocalists.
“The Nay Pyi Taw Water Fountain Garden has been revitalized due to the flower festival. Visitors can enjoy the entertainment programme and they can also take part in amusement programmes during the festival,” said Dr Nay Lin Tun, Chairman of the Hsan Myat Tun Company which organized the festival. —Hein Min Soe (Translated by Kyaw Zin Lin)
