Nawnghkio Cloudy Villa to welcome back customers in November

The beauty of sea cloud is formed when the stream of water from the Duttawadi river flows over 20,000 feet of mountains, transformed into clouds. With the combination of the sky, ground and weather, the most beautiful time of the Nawnghkio Cloudy Villa is between November and January.

Plans are underway to open the Nawnghkio Cloudy Villa following the COVID-19 guidelines on 1 November. People living in urban areas annually visit the villa situated near Nawnghkio Gyi village in northern Shan State.
The villa has been famous since the Tazaungdine festival month in 2019, and five villas were opened on 1 November 2020. Currently, there are eight villas for nature lovers who come and enjoy the mixed beauty of the sky and the ground.
“There are eight villas. Cloudy Villa always opens monthly, but there are challenges to open in the rainy season,” said CEO Daw Yu Nandar Hmine of the Cloudy Villa.
“Last year, people enjoyed the background beauty of sea cloud, birds’ nest and cane chair, and early this year, visitors liked the heaven bridge and cane swing,” she added.
There are seven photo shooting places, and it changed once a year.
“With the conservation to the natural environment, efforts are being made to be better year after year,” she said.
During the rainy season, visitors can stay in the house built by Eucalyptus trunks instead of a tent for K10,000 per person. In the tourist season, cold season, a tent for two persons is K25,000, K45,000 for four persons and K50,000 for six persons. The service includes a hot/cold water showers, and the prices are the same in the summer and rainy seasons.
